There are several ways for individuals to learn about project management related educational opportunities — earning PDUs or getting training required for certification. These project management educational opportunities are communicated through the monthly newsletter. They can also be found on the PMI Metrolina website in the Announcements and on the Events pages. In addition, we have created this Educational Opportunities page to list various colleges and training organizations, either local to our area or with an online presence, that provide project management classes or training.

This page will provide a list of colleges and training organizations, a general description of the training they offer, some contact information, and a link to their website. In many cases, the link will go to a special PMI Metrolina custom web page that will show special offers made available to chapter members. Information related to class descriptions, costs and availability will be found on the educator's website.

UNC Charlotte has a certificate program is designed to provide you with a firm base of the Project Management Institute’s (PMI®) A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
