Community Service
Throughout the course of the year there are at least two ways that members can serve their profession and the community:
Get involved with the Community Meetings where Community Service projects are a central focus. So far this year events include:
- Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Olde Sycamore Club to benefit disabled Veterans, Seniors and other Adults with Alzheimer’s, Dementia and various diseases of the elderly.
- Service Project for the Matthews Help Center
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 5K Walk at Carowinds
- Service Project for the Blessed Assurance Adult Day Care
- Land & Lake Poker Run to benefit Relay for Life

Community Services-Charlotte Region – Chapter wide volunteering at lower & wider engagement levels including bringing donations and volunteering time. So far this year events have benefitted:
- Safe Alliance (United Family Services Battered Women’s Shelter)
- A Child’s Place (Programs for Homeless Children)
- American Heart Association
