Join us for our new Workshop Series, "Destination Saturday Professional Development". Our first Workshop of the year is with the renown and acclaimed, Author, Educator and Motivational Speaker, Dr. Kimberly P. Johnson.  Limited space available - small workshop of 35. Dr. Kim's new book is also included in the price and will be distributed at the event.

While at The Charlotte Musem of History, explore the museum and historical grounds at your lesure before or after the workshop. There are several exhbits inside and historical buildings and walkways for your exploration outside.

  • Dr. Kim's book "No Fear For Freedom: The Story of The Friendship 9", the story of the "Rock Hill Sit-ins" in the 60's was very instrumental in overturning the  sentence in 2015, 54 years later! Known as a local expert and has met with many political leaders throughout the years
