PDD of the Carolinas and Virginia on Friday, Oct 23rd, 2020

The three North Carolina PMI chapters and the Hampton Roads Chapter are working together to bring a half-day all virtual professional development event to project professionals of all kinds in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. 

The chapters will host two keynote and 9 breakout sessions designed to help you adapt in our ever-changing Project Economy. There will also be opportunities to connect with PMI chapter partners and other project managers throughout the day while earning up to 11 PDUs.

Cost: $79 per person ($69 per active duty or military veteran).

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

Britney Householder is the Volunteer of the Month

Brittney Householder, PMP· joined the PMI-Metrolina in 2018 and has been an avid ambassador. A product of our chapter's PMP Prep program, Brittney was a leading student amongst her cohort; there after mentoring her fellow practitioners to certification and volunteering with our partner Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC). Brittney's core role is Director of Professional Development Day, in which she is leading the planning and execution of Region 5's inaugural joint-chapter annual symposium. Her keen ability to manage multiple workstreams, passion and diligence has made her successful in this role. Beyond PMI, Brittney is a principal volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, raising over $275,000 for the organization annually, while advocating as Captain in N.C.'s Congressional 12th district and on the national board. In free time, Brittney enjoys the equestrian trails of N.C. and spending time with her Chihuahua, Darla.

PMI Metrolina is pleased to announce our first ever book club. This group is for anyone who wants to get back into reading, learn more about project management, or just looking for a good book to read. The group discussion will be led by your favorite authors.

All are welcome to join the 2-part series discussion about "Activate your Agile Career" with Author, Marti Konstant on October 26th.
